Veteran DJ and producer John Digweed has announced details for his forthcoming album, ‘Re:Structured’, which is scheduled for release next month.
The compilation, a three-CD and DVD package pays homage to his long-running Bedrock Records label and acts as a follow up to volumes one and two of Structures from 2010 and 2011, respectively.
The thirty-five-track showcase contains twenty-one exclusives that encapsulate the label’s signature style, with the first CD featuring new material from Bedrock mainstay Dave Angel, as well as new affiliates Quivver and Montel. The second CD comprises newly remixed material, namely from popular Bedrock catalogue releases. The final disc features a live Digweed set from the Bedrock 17-year anniversary party, recorded at London’s XOYO club last month.
The DVD accumulates live footage from Bedrock parties in London and Manchester, as well as exclusive interviews with Digweed and long-standing resident Danny Howells, who talk at length about the labels rich heritage.
John Digweed’s ‘Re:structured’ is out via Bedrock Records on December 4th. Pre-order here.
